BlogStar of the Month (Feb)- Kira Permunian of LS Geekster Online

When I first meet this guy online, I thought he was an Indonesian because of his unique name“Kira Permunian” but after when we’ve chatted, I learned that his a solid Pinoy,a known blogger from Mindanao and a humble person.
Kira Permunian is currently connected to a SEO-Firm in Ozamis City where it build ups his adept skills in social media, SEO and blogging. Reviewing his past achievements Kira is an excellent person, almost all of the contest he joins he won and even made it in the first place.

His latest big mark was winning the Philippine Blog Awards –national level as Best Technology Blog of 2011 and recently winning the $1000 guest blogging contest at Blog Engage.

1.What is the of name your Blog(s)? (how you come up with the name)

LS Geekster Online got its name from a college social network we’ve administered before (2008). It was a network full of interaction that later on became a troublesome to its members. If you are interested, please feel free to visit our brief history. It was just last 2010 where I opened the blog through blogger but that time, with no content at all. After a year, 2011 I formally made it to focus on a niche blog which is best SEO blogging – LS Geekster Online by Kira Permunian.

2.How and when do you start in Blogging? Who inspire you to blog?

When I got to work for a BPO company in Cagayan de Oro City, I was face off to Internet Marketing. My job revolved around Search Engine Optimization in its top level strategies. I did not limit myself to SEO, so I get to explore too with other Internet Marketing strategies such as social media optimization and blogging.

There’s a lot that inspires me to blog like Danny Brown, Brian Belfitt, Jason Acidre and many more. 

3.How many visitors do you get daily to your blog?

I don’t have an accurate tool to determine my statistics. The one in blogger is different from Google Analytics and with other tools I used. So I based on Alexa rank, and other global ranking sites.

4.How much time do you spend on work related to your blog?

At this very moment, I don’t have time to update my blog. My last update was last December 31, 2011. Yeah I am looking forward for a post this year. I hope somebody will have a grand debut in guest posting in my blog. Before, I used to have 4 hours in blog posting and blog hopping.
5.Where do you see your blog(s) and yourself in 5 years?
I am working on the ranking of my blog and hoping to gain more achievements and recognition this year. I will be back on track very soon after this busy schedule I have now.
6.One of the hardest things for beginner bloggers is getting traffic. What tips can you give bloggers to drive traffic to a new blog?
I have a formula in SEO that is very applicable in blogging. If you would like to know, contact me. Hint: This formula (White Hat) is composing of the easiest SEO strategy, the expensive (and with hardwork) SEO, and the one that will help you go viral.
7.What are your three favorite blogs to read? What makes those blogs special?

8.What is your favorite blogging tool or the tool you couldn't live without?
Web browsers, MS Word, and SEO tools
9.What you could give to new blogger to help them start out on a path of success?

10.Aside from blogging what are other things you love to do?
Just this year that I love to be with people helping them to know themselves and giving them a piece of heaven in earth. I am always in the Internet, so I can be catch on the different social media sites.
