Dell Alienware Phantom MX11x Notebook for Gamers-Specs and Price Review

Dell’s Alienware was one of the best manufacturers of gaming machines in the world. The MX11,MX15, and MX17 series are among their best arsenal built with great design and powerful component dedicated for gamers.

This time will set our review on Dell Alienware Phantom MX11x which was first announced 
last 2010 CES to date and now it is available in the Philippines.

MX11x is available in three types of processors: Core 2 Dou SU7300, Core i5 processor as well as Core i7 with 1GB GeForce GT 335M graphics card, enough to power optimum display performance

MX11x Hard Disk Capacity is available in 160GB, 256 GB, 500 GB and 640 GB and best recommended operating system is Windows 7(64 Bit).

MX11x has software called Command Center that housed a lot of software to customize your machine:
•AlienFX-allows you to customize system lightning effects for Alienware logo,keyboard and touchpad
•AlienFusion Management-controls the power efficiency and performance
•AlienTouch-Allows you to adjust your touchpad sensitivity.
•Aliensense-configure  web cam to read finger prints or biometrics for security purpose

According to Dell the MX11x battery life could work up to 8.5 hours but experts tell it could only run 2-3 hours of gaming mode and 6 hours of regular use.

MX11x has 3 USB ports, HDMI, Display Port, mini FireWire, VGA and a SIM slot.The 3D cores up to 6 to 7 thousands in range and with 50 fps Crysis, 30fps Call of Duty soon and support.
MX11x is a little heavy (4.5 pounds), I think the 8 cells batteries add on weight much. Dell Alienware Phantom MX11x has a small screen but it’s power could run not heavy games like Dragon Age, Torchlight, Call of Duty,Crysis, name it.lol…
