iQor Philippines Donates 700 Computers to Schools in Davao City

iQor, a global provider of business process outsourcing and product support services, announced today that it has donated 700 computers to local schools in Davao, Philippines and neighboring provinces to support technology learning and education.

“I would like to thank iQor for this generous gift to our schools in Davao and neighboring provinces,” said Rodrigo Duterte, Mayor of Davao. “The computers will help our students by giving them access to technology, increasing their digital aptitude, and providing them with the foundation for a brighter future.”




iQor is donating 400 desktops to the Davao school district; the remaining 300 PCs will be given to provincial schools where iQor operates its call centers.

“There are many challenges that students and teachers around the world face but, in today’s increasingly digital economy, access to world-class technology should not be one of them,” said Gary Praznik, Chief Operating Officer at iQor. “Our goal with the desktop donations is to help promote computer literacy and to assist teachers bridge the digital divide.”
