North Point's iBand: Play a High-Tech Christmas Concert!

This grabs my attention today while watching Youtube, a certain band performs uniquely without using any traditional instruments. They don’t have big string instruments or physical drum-sets and pianos. Guest what? Oh yeah, they’re only using iPad and iPhones to produce sounds with the help of instruments apps such as iGog, Pianist, Percussions, Guitarist, and SoundGrid..The band name is North Point iBand.

The iBand was able to play three different songs: Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, Feliz Navidad, and Carol of the Bells. All of which turned out great. According to Reid Greven, it took just a few apps to get the magic started, and then multitracking them through Apple’s Logic Software.
