The Linksys SRW248G4-48ports + 4 Gigabit Ports with WebView Review
January 28, 2011
Edit
For the first time I have unboxed the new Linksys Gigabit
Switch with 48ports(10/100mbps) + 4 Giga-Ports(10/100/1000mbps) and a webvVew features prepared to connect the
entire network of the FTC Tower here in Davao.
What is special with this Linksys Switch is the 4 Gigabit
Ports that can connect more high-speed (10/100/1000) uplinks to expand the
network with great bandwidth performance.
Another highlight of Linksys SRW248G4 is the capacity to support
VOIP (voice over internet protocol) which is very in demand in BPO companies.
The Linksys SRW248G4 boost with WebView feature that
allows you to monitor and controls remote devices connected in your network
using a web browser.
The Linksys SRW248G4 was totally designed to consolidate
your network, connecting more hubs and switches to make a whole and stable
network that could cater your growing business needs.
I can’t recall all the specs details maybe you
should read the info below from the Linksys website.

Price:
Here in the Philippines, the Linksys SRW248G4-48ports 10/100+ 4 Gigabit Ports
with Web View would cost around 20 to 25 thousands(more or less $400). In our company
we expense around 70k for 3 Linksys Gigabit Switches both 24 and 48 ports.
